Good morning Boys and Girls. Now sit down all nice and quite while I tell you a story...

There once was a lady from nantucket... NONONONO!!!!!

There once was a band named The Clash who inspired a band to name themselves the GutterSnipes. Dan the drummer and lyricist was really into The Clash and there apparently is a story that wouldn’t be told about his love for the band. The GutterSnipes transformed themselves one day into the Snipes and have been in existence for 5 years now.

Duncan Oswald ( who is no relation to a famous Oswald) plays bass and sings while Carl plays the guitar. They are all such nice wholesome boys... (wholesome is most certainly open for interpretation!)

The Snipes are working on their third CD to follow up the previous releases of "Sly and Underhanded Way" and "Snipes" to give you more as they describe "Good, Bad, Ugly, Loud, music for the masses".

These fine boys enjoy the amount of camaraderie and generosity in the indie scene however they note that there are a lot more assholes that good people. The Snipes as seasoned musicians offer this advice to bands starting out: "remember why you started, music is fun anything after that is a bonus".

Pals Stand GT (who are the Snipes favorite band to play with) and Babefish are just some of the fave bands these days with the Snipes. To be politically incorrect (whooo I’m scared) these bands are just "fuckin cool".

While cyber chicks really love these guys they have still the challenge of figuring out what "ousbgspoufd" means. Ed.…ok what does it mean? It means they are the HEAVIEST INDIE BAND IN CANADA and if they were any heavier they would form a tag team and join the wwf.
