Formed as a duo in the fall of `96 by Jeff Barkhouse (12-string guitar) and Rosina Tassone (vocals, piano, 12-string guitar). They have been performing as a trio since Nov.`97 with Stacy Hammond (percussion) and occasional guest musicians including, violin, backing vocals and paino. The sound has been described as `ambient acoustic-trance-folk-rock`, Emotionally powerful and moving, Nummmb draw inspiration from past life experences and observations of the world around them.
