In truth, there are two services. The first one is for your established customers. For each customer you have abroad, Elo Quest sets up a special e-mail address, to which you can forward all inquiries written by your customers in their own language. The translation is forwarded back to you. You then answer in your own language, and the answer is translated in turn and forwarded back to you. You can also send faxes to Elo Quest's toll-free number in North America. In this way, you encourage your customers to express themselves more fully and put them more at ease. It greatly increase interchange and narrows the possibility of communication gaps. All correspondence will go directly to you and then be sent directly from you, so Elo Quest does not act as a direct intermediary in the correspondence between you and your customers. Each e-mail address for each corresponding customer will be checked four times a day at given hours, to guarantee speed and predictability.

To calculate the cost, we take the average amount of correspondence generated by your foreign customers in a month, and multiply by two, to account for answers, to get a sample volume. We calculate how much that volume would cost as a retail translation in Brazil, and then apply a discount of 20%. Further discounts are applied as the number of customers' accounts increases. The result is a flat monthly fee, and a unique service which gives you the unparalleled quality of Elo Quest's translations at a truly unbeatable price.
This service gives you an edge against your competitors, present or future. It costs only a fraction of what it would to set up a fully-staffed translation department, and even less than it would cost to outsource the work to another translation bureau. It is available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian. Other languages, such as German and Japanese, can also be made available, although prices may vary slightly.
The other service is the translation of the company's existing institutional home page, encouraging browsers to make e-mail inquiries in their own languages, which Elo Quest will translate, either on a piecemeal basis at a discount, or under basically the same terms as above, for a flat monthly fee.
