Welcome to Pages for People Studying Electronic Media!

As the Information Age evolves, it is increasingly important for us to understand how we communicate and think when using electronic media.

These Pages will facilitate the study of Electronic Communications by providing links to appropriate Internet sites, documents and search engines. As you browse the pages, think about how you are feeling and reacting to the information.

Is it fun? Why?
What makes a site especially exciting?
How is this experience different from TV or computer games?

Below are links to lists of Internet sites you might find useful in developing your own Mediacy*

Marketing Commercial sites are new to the Net. Here is a panorama of how companies sell.

Movies Many big budget movies have their own sites for promotional purposes. There are also archives of Classic movies.

Music Music resources go on forever. Artists, Labels, Fans. Some sites are artist-specific, some are run by labels, some are archives of lyrics and tablatures (chords).
