Photo permits are no longer required, but you must still exercise extreme caution in taking photos. Some police may not be aware of the new, more relaxed rules,
and many locals do not like having their photos taken by strangers. As usual; photographs of the airport, government buildings, the harbour, ferries, dams, radio stations, etc are strictly forbidden.
