4. Spring Awaits

The basis for this piece comes from the recorded sounds
of tree branches and trunks using a contact microphone
placed on the bark to act like a stethoscope. The recordings
of theoutdoor ambience and the interaction of small branches
hitting each other are layered with electronic sounds, incorporated
into an orchestration and then performed as an improvisation.
