Voice recognition software such as Kurzweil Voice is useful as a hands-free command interface for Window’s based music sequencing packages, audio editors and Csound. It should be noted that the mouse and qwerty keyboard are still active and can be used along with the voice recognition software providing a highly integrated input interface.

        The initial offering is unfinished but should get most interested parties started. All relevant and useful voice commands will be implemented as time allows. Initially we will be voice enabling three programs and will include text files listing the voice commands as well as the .voc files required by Kurzweil Voice. The programs are:

1. Sound Forge :	.voc files for Kurzweil voice .txt files for list of voice commands
2. Cakewalk :	.voc files for Kurzweil voice .txt files for list of voice commands
3. Csound :	.voc files for Kurzweil voice .txt files for list of voice commands
