This piece is a Balinese musical fantasy using the computer to assemble and vary small musical motifs used in playing the Balinese-like sound samples. The samples or sounds used have also been tuned to a very rough version of traditional Balinese tuning where a five or seven note scale within an octave are equidistant. The standard European scale uses twelve equidistant notes. |
